Hairspiration !

Hi!

We're taking a lifestyle turn on the blog today. It turns out hair is kind of a huge deal for me. I'm not into jewellery and I'm not a make-up enthusiast either. So hair works for me.

This is a short and sweet post. It's just pictures of Cynthia of SimplyCyn a.k.a addicted2etsy.  I've been googling hair-inspirations and I'm working  my way up to the part where my hair looks this fabulous. I stalked her a bit  and was able to pick a few of her recent pictures. I was going to post some of my recent pictures that had some similarities to hers, but then my selfies looked like poop next her fancy high resolution pictures. Thankfully I have a photoshoot coming soon (yay!), so  I can upgrade from my poop pictures.

Hope y'all are having a great summer? Life is moving pretty fast for me and I'm beginning to feel old. Ehm no ranting today.

So till next time!

Do something worthwhile in the meantime :)

Fopsy

Hey Lil Troublemaker.

Photo credit:  looseends  via  Foter.com  /  CC BY-NC-SA Freezing as usual. I've gone through today's edition of "school sucks, especially in the Winter". I have a midterm anyway, so there's no way around school today. No point whining. There's a 3-minute bus for the 7minute walk I have to make to my next class.  When the roads are icy and slippery (like today) and man's greatest fear is becoming 'Humpty-Dumty the second', that walk becomes more10-ish minutes. So, of course I'll take the bus! *Whew!*. I made the bus.  To calm my raging nerves - because I'm pretty tensed about my Stats midterm - I read the cover page of Metro newspaper. The story I first see is something about wheelchairs not getting priority over strollers. Lol? Who wouldn't know that? On second thought, it wouldn't be on the front page of the paper if something hadn't happened. Apparently, some bus driver had told someone with a toddler to get off t...

Let Love Grow...Seriously, Give it a Chance.

My friend got married last week, and on their wedding website she pretty much said, "I'm marrying the guy I made fun of in a group chat with my friends". I thought it was funny, so obviously I read the rest of the story. It was one of those where she had an assumption about who he would be, it was all fun and jokes until they got talking and he turned out to be amazing. So amazing that she now calls him the love of her life, and they've vowed to spend forever together. Now, this is one story where she gave him a chance, even when he seemed laughable.  At the very least, we can say it wasn’t love at first sight, a.k.a. no obvious chemistry.  Today’s 21 st century love script  in a 'no chemistry' situation probably says, “nah, the guy would probably fit in the friend zone”. Right? How about we talk a little about seeing beyond the 21st-century ingredients for love and instant attraction? Photo credit:  Katy.Tresedder  via  Foter.com  /...
